I wanted to say a big thank you to Elaine for developing this website.
I have met a lovely new pal on the site and it has made such a difference to my life, which was extremely isolating before I became a member .
Sometimes it is difficult for me to get out and about to have a coffee or even a few spare minutes to myself away from the house as my Caring Role really does take up most of my time, but I am able to log onto the Carers Connect International Website and chat away at a time that suits me and it really is a life-line.
So A BIG THANK YOU Elaine for putting together this brilliant Website and making it possible for me to find a lovely new friend.
My Carer pal really understands what I am going through to as her Caring Role is similar to mine. I also chat on-line to another buddy on here who is from Australia, and although it is unlikely I will ever visit oz it is still nice to be able to reach other Carers from around the world.
I would urge other Carers from anywhere in the world to take advantage of this fabulous Website and get on-line NOW and change your life for the better. Having a friend who understands your predicament is TRULY worth its weight in gold.
